LTs and email verification

Sooo... One of the first things I do is to always do the email verification before going on with the rest of char creation even if I don't plan on using it. Didn't get the email, so I wanted to see what the command was to resend it and found this in the helpfile for help email

Syntax: email change <email address>
Syntax: email confirm <verification code>

Upon reaching level 2, Shattered Kingdoms will send a verification code to
the email address that was entered for your character during character
creation. Once you receive the code, login to the game and use the email
confirm <code> command to confirm your email address.

If you do not receive a code via email, please check your spam folder. If
this does not help, you can re-enter your address using the email change
<address> command and a new code will be sent to you. You may also
use this command to update your verified email address at a later date.

Your email address will never be divulged to any third party. Only Level 60
Admins can view your email address. Your address will only be used by the
server to relay important info about your character, such as password resets.

A confirmed email address is required for automated password resets (coming
soon). It will also be required for various future in-game benefits.

Sooo... How can people spend the LTs for char creation if they can't even get the code till level 2?

That helpfile is out of date. I always get the email right away. Be sure to check your spambox.

HOWEVER, if you have Hotmail, it won't work as they have managed to flag everything from ShatteredKingdoms.org as spam as announced here.

Is it possible to change your account's email?

You need Dulrik for that, I do believe.

If you are talking about character, that is done ingame with the email command.

I have a moderately long list of people who have requested email changes that are pending. The admin email change command is currently broken and there are code changes that have to happen before I can process these requests. But you can email me with a request.

I also need to try to do something about getting us off hotmail's spam list.

Also on Gmails spam list, but at least with gmail I can simply mark it as not junk.
