Shattered Kingdoms

Had some fun with both characters. Biggest shame though is that most of all my rp was had with newer players (Baranov, La.Bonita, whoever played Corbelle, etc). Life has gotten far too busy to soak time into this game, but if the player numbers were up to even an average of 30 it might be worthwhile. As it stands, it's nothing more than a timekiller, not the fun, exciting game I used to play years ago. Although I built Nevin entirely incorrectly in order to PK (as I usually do with my permanoob status), I did have a lot more fun with PK this time around than ever before, and a lot more success... Nevin was only ever pk'd once* while having a ton of kills himself, something I never really managed with my prior ~13 years of play. (*There was an incident with Myrwen which I do not count, because at the time Nevin was an ally of the Empire, so didn't think smiling at her would be an issue). Brakk I built per the MR barb guide and he was just an incredible beast... he was fun in a fight for sure.

I will say that the players of the MC/Empire were mostly pretty awesome in the war with the Keepers. Many were willing to rp, and did so well in my opinion. Rather than call out those that did not, some of the stand-up performers in my eye were Rolf, Trimcus, and Entelamon when he was around. This war was really the only bit of real fun had (as a player, of course... Brakk was not a fan) between both characters. Nevin's time adventuring with Ainhoa in the end was really the only thing that delayed this deletion--La.Bonita is the kind of player I wish sk had more of.

There's so much bitching back and forth between players and imms publicly it's embarrassing. The pbase seems to really only have the worst left in it (seeming that way because they are naturally the loudest)... but maybe that's just because it is so small. Nothing but player feuds and [REDACTED].

I could go into backstory on both characters but why? Some fun was had, some grief was had, and some lame player actions were weathered. All in all it was not a great experience, unfortunately.

I didn't know these characters, though I do remember you from 13 years ago. Sorry to see your character go, though in that last fight, you sure did dart pretty quickly!

Enjoyed both these characters and sad to see you go. Good luck with whatever you have going on and hit me up if you want to play again.

While I enjoyed the limited interactions with Brakk, thank you for rolling Nevin. RP with him was some of the most enjoyable time I've had in game for a while. Wish we'd had more time to adventure.

Lol, Baranov and I both started SK around the same time. a little over a decade ago. How the years pass so quickly.

Hmmmm... grouped with the "newer players"... definitely does support my self proclaimed permanewb status. I second your sentiment that we did share some fun RP. As "bitchy" as Corbelle always got with Nevin, I couldn't help but smile at their RP interactions. If ever my real life drama subsides enough for me to handle the SK drama again, I hope to find you still around!

I enjoyed my interactions as Ziklona with both of your characters! (Not technically a new player either, though I did take something of an eleven year break, ha.) Excellent job changing up interactions from character to character, some people it is obvious who plays who, but you I had no idea! Hope you find an enjoyable way to spend your time.

Always found the SK drama a stress relief. Always brightens my day to see how angry people get over a game
