You've used that one before, grep. Don't you have other tentacle rape gifs in your C/porn/rape/tentacle folder?

As well they should have been from the start. Consider a previous Dulrik post in gameplay:

It was a few years ago, but I remember writing that one. Good times! And I still back it 150%. The only thing that surprises is that no one has yet called me out in this thread for slut-shaming.

I don't think all of those classes need to get the consecrate and enchant abilities. Though I do think that consecrate and enchant should be combined again into just 1 spell that priests and mages both get so you don't have to find a priest for one enchant and mages for another.

What would you rather have- respect, or money?

If you got it, you may as well get the most out of it.

I would like for consecrate to be added to all clergy classes - priest, shaman, hellion, and paladin. I would also like enchant to be added to all the mage classes - sorcerer, necromancer and warlock. With the small who lists lately, it is cumbersome to logon. Unless I am in quiet mode, I will usually deal with at least two to three resurrection requests and an equal number of consecration requests. I always leave resurrection requests up to chance: a coin flip, with a correct guess resulting in my help and incorrect guess - well, they can always death quest.

There is a small measure of fun in that sort of RP, but there is nothing fun about consecrating or enchanting. It is tedious and makes me not want to play my priest at all. I really think that spreading the load among other casters is a good idea.

You made a priest, you did this for a reason, so you could do things like consecrate and resurrect,
on top of that you chose a neutral religion who has a sacred spell meant to buff others
everything about your character even your race choice screams that it was a helper role
so did you not expect to give the same consideration to others that you give to your friends?
Personally I do not mind consecrating or enchanting with my characters, I often put more work into others gear than I do into my own.
Not necessarily always fun, but expected.

However with the current playercount being so low, I understand how often you must get asked for help. Simply saying sorry, you are too busy is always an option.
When you go silent mode though, that just suggests your only willing to help people you know OOCly, and do not want to deal with anyone else.

I don't think it's fair to say we can tell someone what their reasons for playing a certain character are.

No, I made a priest because I wanted a character with gate and I didn't want to play a sorcerer. You would be surprised at what I am able to accomplish solo.

When I go quiet mode - it means I don't want to be bothered. Nothing more, nothing less. Whatever expectation you think you have to my or my character's time - check your privilege.

Solo priest is quite capable.
And I can not speak for what your reasons are, this is true.
I have interacted with Gann on a character in the past, and found him helpful and enjoyed the interaction at the time.

The idea though that you don't want to be bothered now, bothers me.
SK is a roleplaying game, playing alone rather defeats that purpose in my opinion.
I enjoy character interaction, I would much rather ask others to join me in doing something than do it alone, even if I know I can solo it without a challenge.
