A big new batch of Societies just arrived, as in their babies grew!, so let me count my totals!
1 Green-Cheek Conure
2 Red-Factor Canaries
2 Ring-Neck Doves
13 Society Finches
11+(?) Zebra (Zombie) Finches
Yoshi, one of our Doves, lives in the nice walk-in coop with the 11+ Zebra finches, there may be more, but these are the only one's I am unsure of, as they are the most un-supervised and exist in the largest of the bird cages.
The Conure is in a cage of it's own.
The Canary Sun-Beam, the more yellow of our red-factors, is in a cage with Lil' Faith and Scragly! Both are Zebra Finches, Scragly being recently rescued from the Coop as she was being picked on. She is identifiable as a female from her lack of markings compared to males of the species.
I digress!
The other Canary, Blaze, he now lives alone, however, he sings far more often and frequent, and more joyful!
I am confident that the Zebra Finches could actually swarm and kill me while I change their water on a daily basis if they wanted to.
This makes me wonder if you love or hate the movie "The Birds".....
