Okay, so yeah I was gone for a while and haven't really been back too long. But since when did the IMMs remove deep-elves as potential necromancers? I know the 25 int must be crazy when it comes to spells, but come on.

Edit: If spellcasters are gonna get wimped, so should melee.

We didn't. But as always, you must choose diabolic to have the option to be a necromancer. It's also an advanced class, so you can't pretend to be a newbie.

Necromancy also get hidden behind the "advanced" ghosting (you have to answer no to are you a new player).
This was added in to make it harder for new players to end up in a hopeless situation. Necromancers are a hard class to play and one where you are expected to be targeted from low levels in PK. There are no real "Safe times" as a necromancer. There are other options that are not around for new players I believe dwarf priest is another such option. It also goes hand in hand with the loyalty point extension of options for race class combinations.
