I am tempted to come back to sk after a long vacation from it (two or more years). I have notice a quite a few positive changes in the game and I am curious enough to try to venture out in Pyrathia again. Fortunately, my husband is currently playing sk. If I were to come back, and we were to play at the same time, having the same IP address would this pose a problem?

More importantly, there is no need to add to any current drama or unnecessary nonsense to the immstaff. Would it just be safer to stay away? In the past couples (married and not) who lived together have rolled characters before with two very distinct personalities to support this concept.

Thank you for reading this post, it might help others who have the same question(s).

It is fine for two players to play the game together from the same location. Just be sure to keep all communication and information in-character. Even if you are sitting in the same room playing together and can easily talk to each other, your characters should still communicate with each other in the game when interacting or playing together.

I hope you enjoy the positive changes.

Just make sure you send a PM to them about it. It isn't a big deal, as long as you are up front and give them a head's up before hand. Just be careful of the information you tell eachother doesn't get used in the game if you char wouldn't/shouldn't know it.

I've simply sent a pray up saying "hey, getting my cousin into sk. Same ip. Just a heads up." And everything was fine.

Yeah, I've played from the same IP address as another person many times and I've never even had to let the IMMs know. Still might be a good idea to send up a PM or something though.

Lol this brings back memories. 10 years ago SK was huge in my town, and we actually built a little computer lab in my friend's basement, since there were like eight people living there. At times we had as many as four or five people playing SK at the same time. IMMs didn't like it, but hey, those were in the days when you could easily see 70+ people on the game at once. I think the biggest number of people I ever saw on SK was close to if not more than 200. #nostalgia

Makes me sad. I missed Sk's prime.

I won't even tell my husband who I play, because he says I could and would never pk him, so he has it coming. Or I do, lol. Either way I am just excited to be back.
