An interesting issue. Feel free to PM me more details. Even if you are not a member of a faction, there is nothing (except their guardians) stopping you from breaking in to read a board. So you could theoretically still read it.

This is a good example of why this feature will be very helpful though. Someone left you a message in the past and you never even knew it, much less read it. The boards will be a more reliable communication mechanism now.
