A Formal Garden
Traversing a rolling hillside from east to west are small sandy walkways
surrounded by lush expanses of well-manicured lawns dotted here and there by
perfectly maintained flower beds. The arrangements of vibrant flowers are
surrounded by short painted black fences that serve a more ornamental than
utilitarian purpose. Here, a small stone bench is situated to accommodate a
weary traveler that wishes to enjoy the splendor of the gardens that once
belonged to the beloved King Gerevan.
It's snowing, well past freezing, and very, very windy.

Looking across the King's Grounds
The city street ends abruptly here, tapering into a tiny walkway leading
to the east through a garden archway. Lush, green lawns lead down a
hillside, affording an obstacle-free view of The King's Grounds over the
city wall in the far-off distance. The Temple of All Gods and the remainder
of the City of Exile are visible to the south and west of this point, built
upon the top of the hill.

Barbican Avenue
You are upon a narrow, cobbled avenue running in a northerly direction,
climbing gently away from the centre of the city. The road is well -
maintained, hedged on either side by the tall, timber-framed houses typical
of Exile. The stone-lined gutters run with fresh water, the air relatively
clear of the usual city taint of smog and night-soil, of close pressed
bodies and horse manure. Instead, the atmosphere is one underlain with the
scent of honeysuckle and rose blossom which, with the verdant green scramble
of ivy, wreath many of the houses along the road.

The Information Center
Indigo-painted walls line this large office, making it seem smaller than
it likely is. The wooden floor has been constructed from a pale-colored
wood and has been vigorously polished. A crisp notice, listing Exile's
shops, hangs high on the northern wall, taking up a majority of the space.
Glancing at the southern wall, one notices a long list, entitled 'Laws of
Taslamar', in bold print. A stunning mural of a raven-haired woman
dominates the western wall, the border of which is surrounded by budding
roses. A large oak desk sits in the center of the room, beneath a large
orb on the ceiling which bathes the room in a comforting glow.

delicately written inscription. Large, decorative columns ascend out of the
floor at uniformed intervals, connecting to the soaring cathedral ceilings.
You find yourself in the very center of the Temple of All Gods and laying in
the midpoint are three golden boxes that have been arranged in a open-ended
square. The golden vessels overflow with lush rosebushes that emit a sweet
aroma into the air. A pedestal, topped with a golden bowl, is erected in
the center of the square. From this vantage point, you notice that smaller
shrines connect off of the main temple structure, intended for a more
personalized worship.

Seldavus Road that runs southward. Water runs down an open gutters edging
in a vain attempt to keep the city clean. The gentle slope of the road

large timber logs have been set down to form a square border around some
