You utter the words, 'aque bragh'.
Your acid blast seemed to have no effect on Tribune Attalus. How strange!

Why do these NPCs have spell immunity all of a sudden?

Killing them and a respawn seemed to remove it.

A number of spell damage messages were re-worded recently to more clearly distinguish immunity from avoidance due to a save. Also immunity and spell resistance should now correctly both use the same messages. This is part of the underlying prep work for the next major update.

I had the same problem with the same set of NPCs today. They are completely immune to MM CS and AB, it's spell immunity. I am not sure why they are getting it, if you kill them they seem to respond and act normally again. This is not just a message I get once this is the same message I get casting MM on them repeatedly.

Hmm... okay I have a new suspicion. If it turns out to be the problem, I will have it fixed next reboot.

Probably unrelated to this but here goes,
Code:
A confused human utters the words, 'gszrr uwwjiuhl'.

If you translate this it's "Spell immunity", not a fun spell to give to npcs on leveling areas.

This was in Iane'elanka? This looks like a bug; this NPC isn't scripted to cast that spell and it's not in their spell inventory.

(We should move this thread to Bug Discussion)

The fix for this problem is live in the game as of late last night.

What is the date when that quoted line was recorded?
