 Post subject: Possible removal of Fury penalty to speech

Could we please consider removing Furies penalty to speech? All it really accomplishes is to make RP extraordinarily difficult.

But honestly, that's actually enforcing the correct RP. You are foaming at the mouth in battle rage. You aren't supposed to be making or listening to speeches.

I remember when this change happened. Logged in, could not speak or track while berserk. Still makes me scratch my head why this was done. :wink:

That does make sense, and I understand completely why it has been implemented. I only ask because It becomes very frustrating to to deal with a character that is expected to be furied fairly constantly during most types of exploration.

Couldn't we just ask people to RP correctly instead of relying on game mechanics? It would make life as a player a whole lot easier.

One thing that might help which may not be common knowledge. If you are having trouble understanding things, ask your friends to use small words. No joke! Words of shorter length will not be scrambled unless you are at an extremely low skill level.
