Well, i think immortals should allow mixed aura chars grouping and 'forget' a little bit about the light-darkness rp thing until more people come into the game. It's a good thing to promote a good rp but i would highly recommend, for the time beeing, to allow it..at least not blemish it for the sake of adventuring. I strongly believe will help greatly the game rotation and hey, you can instantly cease it when more players will come into play. Do please have it a second thought and would be nice to hear other people's opinion about this.

I like the idea. Like, what if the lights and darks could learn to hate each other naturally, after getting to know one another? It might really be fun!

Well, it's a pure ooc concept since emptiness seems to dominate. Hey, it's really disgusting sitting around, doing nothing. Don't forget Wow game, where the alliance went together with the horde to fight the Legion. Can be somethin like that until more players will come inside and things will return to normal.

It would be naive to have opposing aura characters not speaking or doing anything because of their alignments. I am not saying they should be best buds, but if only TWO people are online and all they see is each other then they MUST communicate. Besides, when necessity forces them to coexist in a party interesting RP opportunities could be born. Also when numbers rise again, it still won't have to be enforced, it will happen naturally.

This is just my opinion, but I thought everything so far has been consistent with the alignments of everyone involved. For Aselapa, it is IC that the fate of mouldering to death while cannibalising each other is too horrible to refuse a rescue. And those who were rescued are also IC to with the offer of getting the armour. You have probably guessed that I can log someone of the "correct alignment", but it feels like a cop-out to the reality of the situation, which is that three or four Pacific/European times players staring at each other. :( And also loss of RP opportunities. :D

My personal opinion, and I mean personal, is that you're completely fine as long as everything has a foundation in the RP of your character. Deep-elf/Elf enmity being the exception, but the rest is up to personal RP to some extent. A light aura person isn't going to help a dark aura person murder a room full of innocent children, but just like there are times when a pious paladin may allow his less principled allies to handle his dirty work, there could be times when the stakes are high enough to allow for temporary pacts and things of that nature if there is an problem with unique needs. There are also the light auras that think they can turn the dark auras away from their heinous paths, or dark auras who think they can taint the actions and soul of the light auras they might be temporarily helping, and lots of other RP.

Should most people be incredibly wary of opposite auras? Absolutely, but the rest is in the RP. That doesn't mean your specific RP situation might not end in blemishment depending on the specifics, but that can also mean a story about RPing atonement and all of that which can also be fun in the right circumstances, AND if you go into knowing those risks.

This may be a bit old for some people, but there was a paladin and hellion who had a nice final battle, in Exile I believe, years ago. Two sides of the same coin, there have been paladins and hellions that had entire RP "friendships" based on mutual respect more so than helping each other get loot. And that is basically the main thrust, make sure the RP is consistent, both internally and outwardly. If someone has a problem with your behavior, or thinks your operating outside of RP solely for personal gain, then be prepared to explain yourself and the RP, but that's about it.

TLDR: If there isn't a help file specifically addressing it, then feel free to go where the roleplay takes you, but be aware that other people don't have to be as open-minded in-character to your actions that are "outside the norm".

Makes perfect sense and thank you for making it clear enough. I truly hate to violate terms and conditions and thought to ask first. Enjoy!
