Why not?

If you don't want the potential to face a rogue in PvP, alter your RP and in character actions to avoid it. If you don't want to PvP that moment, then log off or go idle in the big huge ocean.

Streetwise does fail. Survivorship bias is not a reason to nerf a skill.

No, give scry back to everyone. The reason it was removed was because it was "too powerful" if scry is too powerful for anyone to travel to exotic places to get to use, then it's too powerful to be in the possesion of two classes that costs almost nothing.

Or it could be written into the helpfiles so that information vital to survival isn't hidden from public view.

If not, then it needs to be removed, or all the other scry devices need inserted back into the game.

Streetwise is not the same as scrying. Irregardless, streetwise is a class skill limited to a few classes and that isn’t going to change. We will also not be adding any scry items back into the game. Want to find someone? Better have a rogue or bard on your team.

PS. If you want to use logs as an argument for gameplay changes with me, they need to be posted on this site.

How about we get some clarity to it's operation like other spells and skills have so the knowledge is public.

Then address charms.

It has a help file:
Streetwise

The information listed there is the same level of detail as all the other help files. There is no way to absolutely protect yourself from streetwise. It’s just safest to assume people can find you now if there are any rogues or bards in the realms.

You only get the short desc of the area you are in. So if you stay in common areas a rogue or bard will have a very tough finding you. There is so many ways to avoid streetwise it's not even funny. If you want a safe zone sit in the astral lounge.
