 Post subject: Idea: Necromancers and Necropolis Notification

Would be fun if Necromancers were alerted to people entering the Necropolis as people go through the sewers. Gives an opportunity for necromancers to mess with people that enter their domain.

For example, people go through front door, so necromancers sneak in necropolis backdoor and grab a bunch of undeads.

How about letting necromancers animates report that? Like wraiths or something? Report anyone outside of the necromancer when ordered to keep watch somewhere?

Though any code changes are likely not anytime soon.

I'd say give necromancers the ability to cast a long range spell to draw in NPCs.

They should use a magic missile wand or a cabal spell for this.

It would be neat to be able to stash undead places and have them announce to the necro (via tells) when someone enters the room.

Another idea would be to change vampiric touch to a persistent effect that continually drains the victim of life and heals the necro. It could be nerfed on amount of damage done and heading received to reflect this. Being able to over heal would be a neat defensive ability unique to the necro. Defensive abilities are what they need the most, imo.
