The following happened in a PK a few mins ago. Notice how he manages to flee after 1 round even if he is bashed. A bug perhaps?
Code:
A wraith slams into a green-eyed male half-elf and sends him sprawling!
A green-eyed male half-elf's armor protects him from the physical affects of a wraith's bash.

A green-eyed male half-elf has fled!

PS: Spending a whole mana pool in summon attempts because they can flee even if you bash them is not funny.

I don't think fleeing due to your wimpy setting is affected by things like bash. Could be wrong though.

can't flee due to wimpy while bashed. Unless, possibly, if you had wimpy 100% and they fled from the bash damage itself. stuff like BoG nimbus could be wimpy fled from.

The touch should have paralyzed him....that would have solved it.

The touch is just like anything else. There is a save. I'm sure you already know that so I won't continue... but I would like to know what's going on. Is this a bug?

I've noticed that if you use bash or trip to start a fight, it only lags the victim for the first round of combat. After that, they are free to go on their way, regardless of the lag to the attacker.

If you use trip or bash AFTER a fight has started, this will not be the case.

Does initiative have anything to do with this? I know often the defender gets two attack rounds in response, so if bash lag is less than three rounds then this is a possible explanation.

Could it be cause this was a partial bash?

It's not a partial bash.

And if initiating with bash lags the basher 2 rounds and the victim only one, what is the point of bash if you want to keep them there?

PS: Nashira is right when it comes to NPCs, but somehow NPCs have skills/spells above any PC's highest ambitions :P

EDIT: I can upload the whole log on a server if you want to see how it was summon/bash/flee after 1 round/repeat until I spent all my mana pool.

Wow this is huge news to me...I was always under the impression bash lagged for 3 rounds period...So Starting with bash only lags 1 round?
