I second.

In no particular order...
1) Have Inn rooms actually give you the regen boost.
2) Tribunal Warfare (Like, make a whole bunch of cities in the deep realms or around main Kingdoms, and Tribunals can fight for power over them, and say one person gets power over a city, that tribunal can use Leadership on those NPCs there)...and the such.
3) More eq slots, I shouldn't have to remove my heaband to put on earrings...and then not be able to put my headband on again...
4)New class/Race, and more skills to existing classes.
5) A bigger playerbase :D

Done!

SK Character: That'd be telling
Personally, I would love to be able to to tie up / gag / blindfold people. Kidnapping and hostage taking would be possible. Maybe they could be carried off if two or more people are present (size factors coming into play also).
This could only happen once the victim is overpowered (stunned) or perhaps if caught sleeping somewhere. It is a hostile action and therefore if seen doing this can be reported as a crime, the victim can also report after the event.
It would give tonnes of RP scope (I think).

Blindfolded persons cannot see where they have been taken too and therefore cannot call in the gank squads.
Gagged people cannot cast spells / recall / prayer.
Bound people cannot recall / move away.

edited for clarification: I have played a mud with this before and it wasnt an especially RP intensive MUD, but it did lead to some people being caught rather than killed. Each tick the captor has a chance of breaking free his bonds.

note: this is not to increase the possibilities of mudsex

What new addition would most increase the popularity of SK in general?

An outlook on changes of CRS:

1. A revamp in CRS to gear it more towards tribunal/kingdom based wars instead. This way, more players are more likely to be 'in the loop', and feel they are part of something. Certain cabals are then able to go 'underground', working in the background as per preference.

2. Allow players to capture and hold strategic points such as guard towers, market place, stables, blacksmiths and so on. These strategic points then in turn boost the economy, or otherwise materials of the said captures, such as an increase in bargained merchandize, trained horses, upgraded weapons, etc. of the owning kingdoms.

3. Specific production of Kingdoms, and a system in trade routes. Following the previous idea, each Kingdom in SK could be professional at producing something. Zhenshi could produce silk. Empire could produce horses. Taslamar could produce tanso-steel, and so on. Once two given kingdoms 'trade', that two kingdoms gain the benefit of better clothing, mounts, and weapons/armor.

Generally, these ideas create opportunities for the kingdoms of 'SK' to be the driving force on the surface, instead of cabals. Also these features will promote SK with its name. "What is Shattered Kingdoms?" "Oh, SK? SK is like wars, diplomacy, roleplay between kingdoms, as the name suggests, with cabals that give special talents! Wilderness map! Lots of fun!"

If CRS is to remain unchanged, staying with cabals:

1. Allow the 'winners' to gain other forms of bonuses, instead of disabling other cabals' skillsets. This is definitely suggested before, and we know you mean for the loss of relic to 'hurt'. I agree, but I cannot help but notice the two certain cabals without relics for months have been 'hurting SK' instead.

2. Inner Guardians to marshal their defensive strengths instead of their offensive ones. Currently cabal raids are too fast, too furious. It is a make or break raid within minutes -- literally. This actually leaves very little, if at all, player versus player in CRS.

3. I am neutral on this idea but I feel that if CRS is to stay, dual cabal/tribunal membership would greatly draw interest to SK. Players wouldn't be spread so thin into so many factions that is available. There will be more interactions, and players do love being secretly in an organisation.

Well, if they do, they'd better never tell your characters.

Location: Not in the south anymore. Woohoo.
1. New race. Orc, half-orc.
2. I would really like boats, ships, wagons and carriages. I have been playing forr about two years now, and these are things I have always wanted in SK.
3. The firewood item that was put in the game, to be distributed better so it can be found and used.
4. A new non-combat skill for every class.

These things would make me happy.

Dear Dulrik,

I've been a good player this year and for 2007 I want...
1. A new race.
2. A new starting area.
3. Vehicles.
4. More EQ slots.
5. Housing/apts.
6. Small changes to make playing more fun, like being able to stable your mount, pull the hood of a cloak or robe up/down, wear masks/hoods that change your short description.
