Most of the HFs made the sets so that they would be as powerful as possible (Yes, myself included).
I do not deny that I, as a Dulrikian, would have been a little disappointed with the set they got. However, the make-shift (material-wise) set they got, with the magical vestments script it had to begin with, was quite nifty - when all sets got changed to provide the same, the leather just became sucky and the set lost some thematic value.
Not to mention I was never a fan of the japanese lingo (as I am sure everyone who have read a recent thread has become aware of). The point at hand is that I think it was admirable that someone had the guts to stick to his guns and make a flavoured set (some flavour got lost with the japanese terms, but again, that's just me) instead of a powerful one.

Why does Marfik's armor look like someone puked after eating skittles? Because someone thinks that was what chaos would wear.
Hear ye, hear ye. Not to mention that the only work that was even done with that set was to add the "of Chaos" suffix. Nothing descriptive what-so-ever. It is great mechanics-wise though, which just enforces the last argument
