This new, or a bug in the skin skill for the scouts? Each cape I've found lying around is a backpack from the skin of something, yet when you look at it it's not a backpack but a skin.

I logged it in heron valley, no fun to have skins be useless when you're stacking them for youngins.

It's a bug, but only a cosmetic bug. The "backpacks" are still skins and you can still have them tailored into whatever you want. I'll have it fixed next reboot.
