They don't just throw dagges btw, though you probably know and are just saying dagger to cover everything as a generalization. They also throw axes, spears, even boulders if the NPC is a giant. I agree the change has made leveling alot harder, especially for warlocks, but what're ya gonna do about it?

Those that are second row or third row usually have Dirt, trip, or another way to blind the NPC. Problem solved. Adapt. And try not to throw them back when you're young, you will get bent over and called Sally.

It's not easy to dirt kick all the time when you are low level. It costs alot of PE. It's not easy to do much of anything when you are low level. I sort of stick by what I said. Instead of colorspraying with a low chance to blind people you could be spamming mm for exps.

You are right there are ways around getting hit by this stuff but what's a warlock, the people who get hit the hardest by this change, gonna do? Earthquake then try to blind 10 NPCs? They could use a staff but that's a waste of a good staff for just training and you have to know where to get a blindness staff to begin with. No help there for noobs. If you fireball a room of NPCs for exp you have to blind like five NPCs before you can even train? By that time your elem would have ruined all the training? Sometimes you can adept uselessly.

After considering your statement I'm going to stick with my point and say that this change screws warlocks and makes things unneccisarily hard on them. Yes, they have ss and irong guard but I've trained with warlocks and that's not enough to stop hoards of spears and stuff.

Edit: Cleaned up some embarrassing grammatical and spelling errors. I'm supposed to be educated people.

D-A they've already wimped how you can use AoE spells to level, now you can't even use it when the NPCs are in the same room as you. That's pretty stupid.

Well, I guess I could since you're asking. I think the religion spells are way out of wack, I don't know if they are secret or supposed to be secret, but I think it's total crap that the Dulrik faith, a heavy armor faith, has one of the best religion spells in the game. Its completely out of wack according to Dulriks statements like 2 years ago about how this was going to work.

Light armor was supposed to the norm. They would get average strength religion spells. Cloth armor was weak so they would get strong religion spells. Heavy armor was strong so they would get weak religion spells. I mean what the Dulrik faith gets far outclasses alot of other churches. I would take that spell over the Nashira spell, the yed spell, the Zavijah spell, or the Achernar spell. And the Dulrik church gets heavy armor. It's completely out of Wack. Keep in mind I don't know what spells Ain, or Sargas or any other heavy armor church gets but they probably aren't that strong.

I mean I don't want to insult the imm staff and I can totally how the spell makes sense for people who seek to see or understand only what's true but that is a strong spell. Makes me wonder if Dulrik was on some kind of ego trip or something and loaded up his personal religion with the best spell he could think up.

The religion spells are pretty unbalanced IMO. I mean jeez, it seems like the Meissa spell completely killed the whole religion. But the Dulrik one? Sure it's helpful, but I mean it doesn't really DO anything(Assuming I'm correct on what it is, I've only seen it cast once and it was a while ago). The Yed spell is like comepletely stupid. I think it's stupid that the Zavijah and Nashira spells fatigue you. The Sadal spell is helpful, but if I was a priest, I'd be pretty disappointed in my weak-ass spell. None of the other ones come to mind at the moment.

Arguing about the complete uselessness of the Meissa spell is pointless. It doesn't matter how well-formed or factual the arguments are, it amounts to nothing.

The initial suggestion that spell power was going to go cloth > light > heavy was never really followed through on.

And, Orac, Ain was made light armor quite a while ago.

You really have no idea how many words I've devoted to getting Meissa a worthwhile religion spell that even approaches par with the light/heavy armor spells. It's not even worth trying anymore.

You are right, they need a better religion spell.
