Now im sitting in jail and a friends sends me a tell, wish there was a way to bail you out. Got me thinking Why not put a bail out function in the game, where if someone pays for your bail you get paroled out of jail.

just get the money and head to the judge
outlaw bail (person)
lists the bail amount
Outlaw bail (person) amount.
pays the amount

I'd prefer that we recognize that improsinment is by and large a modern day invention, and thus has about as much place in the world of SK as guns or cars.

This is actually extremely false. The difference between imprisonment in sk and imprisonment in historical earth is that in sk there is a limit placed on it.

I like the idea of bail as suggested above.

Societies have had criminals, slaves, and enemies in captivity for thousands of years.

On bail. I think the crimes should remain intact and the prisoner immediately teleported upon release.

Thats what parole does. You are free but your crimes are still there

If we're talking about bail then that sounds about right.

No Tribunal parole person. The person is allowed to walk freely through the streets, however if they commit a crime their crimes come back along with the one they just commited. It is less than pardon.

This is actually false. Perhaps its the way I stated it, as I did not mean to imply that there was no such thing as prison. However, people very rarely were punished with prison terms in and of itself. It was far more likely that you would go to prison to wait until you recieved your actual punishment such as your execution or some other form of corporal punishment. Thus once again: Imprisonment as punishment by itself is by and large (i.e. there are rare exceptions to this, but they are rare) a modern invention.
