This is why my descriptions usually read something along the lines of:
Quote:
This humanoid looks to be male, judging from the broad shoulders on his six-foot-tall frame. His arms and legs are properly proportioned given his stature. No other details about the individual can be made out.
This is much better than the 50 lines written about some fully-armored merc that include things like:
Quote:
On the palm of his left hand, there is a red and gold tattoo of a dragon. On his shoulder-blades, there is a tattoo of an uprooted tree. On his left buttocks is a tattoo of an apple with teeth. The apple is eating a baby. On his lower back there is an old, jagged scar. On the bottom of his right foot is a paper cut. You wonder how he got that paper-cut. The hair on this man's knuckles is slightly finer than the hair in his pubic region. All of his body hair is bright orange, except for a single short white hair on the little toe of his left foot.
About thirty lines later we see:
Quote:
A tattooed male human is using:
A visored helm
A gold-encrusted breastplate
A neck guard
A pair of adamantite boots
A pair of adamantite gauntlets
A pair of steel greaves
A heavy woolen cloak
A diamond fauld
A long black ricinium (also a cloak wtf)
A pair of adamantite bracers.
