The problem, Lykofos, is that nobody in the cabal made the jump IC, either. Sometimes, it's appropriate to actively recruit, as well.

I'm only here to remind everyone of the policy of inducting members into factions and how it applies to everyone. And maybe to enjoy some popcorn.

Yeah, and I only chimed in in a threat I normally wouldn't, because my interaction with either character was minimal, to remind that hey... This is the Afterlife, y'know...

I can take responsibility since I had a flag back then. If he didn't make it clear that he wanted in, then he wasn't considered. A lot of IC factors influence this decision, so regardless of whatever criticism you have on the forums is irrelevant. If he wasn't given an answer in the appropriate time, I'd say it's entirely his fault for not making a clear request for consideration.

You can disagree with how I was going about inductions, it's proven just as effective in my experience. The deletion rates are just the same for people who are sought and those who seek themselves. It's been like that since I joined and hasn't changed since regardless of whatever efforts on my end. People like to get geared up, then die, and go inactive. Nothing I can/want to do about that. People are expecting to have everything from RP/PVP and everything in between to be handed to them on a silver platter when joining a faction, sorry, gotta do your own digging.

How should I know when the time-frame starts? When he decides that he's hinted enough? What if he's being so vague that only he can understand himself? Who is to be the judge of that? Really, you people need to play the game more and the forums less.

Barely knew Erindur but you really must not have made it clear that you wanted to join because I would have jumped on a tank. Didn't know Twei.

You can get in the Crucible, just not through Venthekymi.

Fail to induct me once, shame on you.

Fail to induct me twice...

I'm thinking the problem here doesn't really lie in the hands of the leadership.

From my understanding, it is two-weeks from when you believe they are asking to join and/or one of your own (or yourself) put it in a specific part of a cabal thread in your forum.

Has anyone ever actually e-mailed Dulrik when they didn't get into the cabal they wanted?

Doubt it, but that's the way it should be handled.
