Shields and weapons please. Make shields cost 2-4 skins and weapons vary based on type, one/two handed, etc. Would help with the availability of shields and certain weapon types. Maybe narrow it down so exotic weapons can't be crafted. Otherwise I could use a mithril bandalore.

I would say 5 or 6 for a weapon. 3-4 for a shield. But yea. Great idea imo.

The sub type of weapon would need to be significantly restricted hence why a shop in Teron cant give you everything you want. Some types are meant to be just straight better than others, thus getting a high quality material kind of that weapon subtype is not trivial.

Great idea. I'll be the first one to pk you with a flesh sword.

(horrible idea for general use. maybe one shop that has a quest or something)

I like this idea for shields.

Not particularly for weapons.

Exactly what weapons can one make with a skin? I can only think of a whip.

I must have missed these games, since I don't recall any using the skin of a fallen monster to make a weapon. Talons / Fangs / Horns / Bones are usually used for this, but those are not obtained through SK's skinning process.

However, I am now interested in knowing what game crafts a sword out of skin.
