When I think of a rogue, I think of a master of stealth. Able to not solely eliminate a group or person, but to cripple, slow, handicap and even demoralize.
I've been testing some things out in game and realizes a few things. Rogues need stronger stealth abilities, perhaps a way to slip through a door without alerting anyone it was opened? Or being able to have a certain number of people move with them as if they had sneak. Hide and sneak itself have to much of a lag time if a rogue plans on escaping that way if things go south, I'd like to see the times lowered or removed for rogues.
Hamstring needs a buff, I tried using it effectively only to watch my target go for a stroll as I tried reapplying sneaks and hide to gimp the other leg. Also a way to keep someone from speaking or quaffing would rule, a gag effect or some such.
A "sneaking stance" would be interesting for rogues. A stance that's not removed by fleeing, which allows the rogue to hide/sneak without lag. But who'd use that when they could use aggressive for more accuracy on their backstabs/circles?
I really like the idea of allowing a rogue who is out of combat to slip through a closed (but unlocked) door. Obvious drawbacks as it'd take him out of formation leaving him very vulnerable, so it would not be overpowered. Very cool idea.
