I have seen that bounty NPCs in other places disappear after awhile. I could be imagining it, though.

yup, me too, i'm not 100% on that one but i think they sometimes wander off like disappear, or despawn after a period of time

There is more than one "templar" NPC. One is the bountymob and the others are just made to look the same. The templars in the quote are all bounty NPCs. They do disappear after a while if they're truly bounty NPCs. They are also immune to being summoned, so you are summoning the weaker copy when you do summon one.

Peacekeepers always have had reach. And it was a joke for a long time. Back before the strength of a potion was the strength of the vial it was brewed in it was the strength of the level of the brewer. So you could get people going into exile with GM ironguard, the weapons the peacekeepers had were iron and might still be, and the attackers wouldn't get a scratch on them because of the iron guard. The attackers could kill anything that came their way and with ironguard nothing was done to them.

Exile was a huge joke because of that. And when you take into account bounty NPCs were gone for years and years cities were just sitting ducks. Anyway the point is that peacekeepers have always had reach and to a prepared invader it didn't mean squat.

is this the only tribunal that gets three bounty NPCs in a room? I seem to run into it like in every other room. OUCH

No... when I played Senach, I spawned up to five griffons in Nerina. with Marston, I saw necrophidi (is that the right pluralization?) spawn in very large amounts.

Is something bothering you?

no, I think though maybe when i first started attacking peacekeepers didn't have as much money because I never saw three spawn in one room so maybe I was just lucky then. Didn't know what changed, I guess economy I guess.

What was really the kicker was that back then ironguard was complete immunity regardless of the spell level. It wasn't so much the level of the potion.

It should still be that way for warlocks who cast it on themselves. But that's how it started. Then it was the strength of the caster, then the strength of the vial. It just gets worse and worse and worse.
